STL Professor Stephen Minas Co-Convenes Global Roundtable on Chinese Climate Finance Law


Leading experts on Chinese climate finance gathered at King’s College London on July 11th to share knowledge on the legal and regulatory aspects of China’s growing green finance ecosystem.

The roundtable, co-convened by King’s College London Professor of Law Megan Bowman and STL Professor Stephen Minas, brought together scholars and practitioners to address the topic of "Chinese Climate Finance Law: Enhancing institutional understanding and linkages".

Held under the Chatham House Rule to encourage open discussion, the roundtable took place in virtual format to enable long-distance participation and minimise environmental impact.

Alongside international experts, there were participants from stakeholders in China including Bank of China, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, ClientEarth, the Climate Bonds Initiative, Fangda Partners, the International Commercial Mediation Centre for BRI, the Institute of Finance and Sustainability and Peking University.
